Looking to become a member


Applications for Albury Ski Club membership are considered at committee level during meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month. 

The following guidelines will help to provide the necessary requirements before your application for membership can be considered: 

  1. Applicants should have stayed at the Falls Creek Lodge for a total period of at least seven (7) nights during the Albury Ski Club’s winter season. At least three (3) nights must be consecutive at the Falls Creek Lodge and not as a unit occupant and cannot be accumulated on weekend use only. Nights stayed at our Thredbo do not count towards the bed nights. 
  2. Applications are only considered from prospective members who reside within an 80km radius of the Albury Post Office. However, applications will also be considered from; the spouse/partner or child of a current member who has moved outside the qualifying radius, irrespective of their age or any inactive member who has previously been a financial member but who’s membership has lapsed and which was not cancelled due to disciplinary action by committee. 
  3. Preference may be given to those applicants who have attended a working bee. 
  4. Through your nominating member you must seek introduction to committee members and become familiar with the basic daily running for both the Falls Creek and Thredbo Lodges. 
  5. Candidates for membership must be proposed and seconded by adult members of the association who have been a member of the association for more than one (1) year. 
  6. The application for membership checklist and application form must be completed and submitted to the Secretary 14 days before any monthly committee meeting by the proposing member and must be accompanied by a covering letter of recommendation.
